Involvement

At the start of the school year parents are asked to complete a skills/time audit.  This gives us an idea of any special skills you/your family may be willing to share – and also, any time you may have to volunteer.

We have accountants who help audit school funds, grandparents who sew/garden, parents who talk about their work e.g. one Mum talked about her role as a Police Officer. Some people offer decorating, fund raising and musical skills. Adults who wish to offer help in class or Forest School (in a regulated way i.e. once per week) will be subject to a Enhanced DBS check – we take the safety of the children VERY seriously.

This is the start of an exciting journey into ‘education’. We welcome your involvement – and recognise your role as the child’s most influential ‘educator’.
